HILTON HEAD ISLAND, Ga. (WTOC) – Your old sneakers could soon find new life under someone else’s feet.
Tanger Outlets Hilton Head is launching its “Back to Play” sneaker recycling initiative Saturday, Sept. 26, in partnership with sustainable footwear recycling company Sneaker Impact.
Community members can donate footwear of any type, size or condition. The collected shoes will be recycled into raw materials used to create soft-play surfaces in communities, keeping shoe waste out of landfills…
