Put away the parkas. By Thursday, Savannah will be a full 30 degrees warmer than it was Saturday and Sunday, forecasters say.

After peaking in the mid-40s Saturday and Sunday, highs in the mid-70s are expected by Thursday, according to the weather service.
A warm front will move through the area Wednesday, bringing with it a 20% chance of showers and temperatures edging into the 70s.
“Unseasonably warm weather will continue Thursday night through Sunday as high pressure remains off the coast,” the weather service said Monday.
On Thursday, increasingly thick cloud cover combined with occasional sunshine are expected to drive Savannah-area temperatures to about 75 degrees. A series of weak cold fronts also will move into the area through Sunday, potentially triggering showers and thunderstorms.
Highs are expected to remain in the mid-70s through Sunday.
After plummeting into the bone-chilling mid-20s in Savannah Saturday and Sunday, overnight lows in the 60s are expected Wednesday through Sunday.
