CAT new program aims to help students with Savannah-Chatham School bus driver shortage

SAVANNAH, Ga. – If you’re a student in Chatham County, Chatham Area Transit launched a new program that offers free rides for K-12 and college/university students. The program is called Zero-Fare Pilot Program. It launches Jan. 29 and will last through May 31. Students are able to ride all CAT bus routes for free, including paratransit services.
