‘The pain will never go away’: Mom of slain soldier Moffett posts tribute

The mother of one of three Army reservists from Georgia killed in Jordan says her life will never again be the same.

“This is one of the saddest days of my life,” Francine Moffett posted on Facebook. “With a heavy heart I have to say that my Angel my first born has going on to be with GOD today. The pain will never go away and my life is forever changed.”

Spc. Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, 23, of Savannah was killed Sunday in a drone attack, according to The Pentagon. Sgt. William Jerome Rivers, 46, of Carrollton and Spc. Kennedy Ladon Sanders, 24, of Waycross were also killed in the attack, which injured more than 40 others.

Just know that a piece of my heart and soul will always be missing. Love you Baby Girl. Rest Easy. Always will be my first born.”
