This weekend will be a split decision weatherwise as sunshine on Saturday will be erased on Sunday as rain and gusty winds overspread the area. Sunday and Monday are WJCL Impact Weather Days as periods of rain, gusty winds, and rough surf are expected. Rain showers arrive from south to north on Sunday. The rain first arrives near the Altamaha River Sunday morning through midday. Rain in the Savannah area will hold off until early to mid-afternoon. Rain pushes into the Lowcountry later in the afternoon.
