Heart attack survivor shares her story on National Wear Red Day

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Chantrise Holliman thought she was experiencing indigestion, but quickly learned it was something more serious — a life-altering heart attack.

On National Wear Red Day, the American Heart Association’s movement to end heart disease and stroke in women, Holliman joined News 3 to share her story of survival.

Her message to other women?

“Take care of yourself first. Self-care is not selfish.”
