In a landmark crackdown on human trafficking, Georgia authorities have made a significant stride by arresting 17 individuals linked to a trafficking ring. This operation, known as “Operation Not For Sale,” was a meticulously planned online undercover initiative targeting sex traffickers and their clientele within Bryan County. Spearheaded by the Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) alongside various law enforcement partners including the Georgia Department of Public Safety’s Georgia Motor Carrier Compliance Division, the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office, and the Richmond Hill Police Department, the operation was a concerted effort to combat the scourge of human trafficking in the area.
