Savannah area is booming next week! Here are some upcoming 4th of July festivities

Independence Day is on July 4, but the Savannah area will have fireworks, outdoor concerts, food trucks, and other Fourth of July festivities all week long. Here’s a look at some of them:

Richmond Hill’s Independence Day Celebration is 4 p.m. June 29 at J.F. Gregory Park at 588 Cedar St. There will be inflatables, a train ride for kids, food and craft vendors, face painting, live music, and fireworks around 9 p.m. Parking and admission is free.

Mermaid of Hilton Head’s Splash of Independence is noon-4 p.m. July 3 at the Hilton Head Tanger Outlet at 1414 Fording Island Rd. There will be kid-friendly mermaid punch, ocean-themed coloring pages, patriotic mini photoshoots, and fireworks crafts. Admission is free.

Tybee Island’s July 4th Bike Parade is 10 a.m. July 4, starting and ending at Memorial Park. Later that night, fireworks will be lit at about 9 p.m. off the Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion.
