A bond hearing was held Aug. 26 at the Beaufort County Courthouse for a second indicted Bluffton Police Department employee. Thomas Rauchfuss, 42, appeared before Circuit Court Judge Carmen Mullen on the charge of obstructing justice in connection with his alleged theft of firearm(s) from the department in April 2024.
