Savannah man critically injured in Bryan County shooting

ELLABELL, Ga. (WSAV) – A Savannah man was injured in a shooting near a Bryan County truck stop early Friday, according to the sheriff’s office.

Shortly after midnight, deputies were sent to the Loves Truck Stop on US-280 about a person who had been shot.

On the scene, deputies found a 24-year-old man from Savannah lying in the roadway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to a Savannah area hospital where he remains in critical condition.

No suspects have been identified this time, the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office said.
