Kangaroo hangs out at South Carolina shop before owners retrieve him

HARDEEVILLE, S.C. (WSAV)—A kangaroo went on an adventure to a Hardeeville shop before his owners came to pick him up Tuesday.

Palmetto Wholesale Cars caught the kangaroo in action when he visited across the street from them. They said that the kangaroo was picked up by his owners shortly after they met him.

In the state of South Carolina, you technically can own a kangaroo, unless in a municipality has banned them. South Carolina, West Virginia, and Wisconsin are the only states that allow you to own one without a permit.

Palmetto Wholesale Cars said that the kangaroo and his owners live close by.
