TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WTOC) – Tybee Island is temporarily waiving permit fees for repairs needed as a result of damage from Hurricane Helene. In a post on social media Sunday morning, city officials say the fees will be waived through November 1 in an effort to help reduce the financial burden of necessary repairs while still completing the permitting and inspection process.
