SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — It’s been 11 weeks since the deadly shooting on Highway 204 left one man dead and the police without any leads.
25-year-old Tre’von Moorer took his last breath 78 days ago. For the first time, the victim’s mother, Sheena Lewis, is speaking out.
She talked to WSAV’s Tyler Nicole about the life changing day in hopes of bringing her son’s killer to justice.
The July 25 shooting is still being investigated by the Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) and they say they have no leads or new information to share with the public at this time, but Lewis said enough isn’t being done.
Lewis also said that she’s not coping and she won’t rest until there’s justice for trevon
“The only reason I’m still here is because my son is buried here,” Lewis said. “The police aren’t telling me anything, they just keep saying it’s under investigation.”
Lewis described Moorer as a vibrant friendly young man who always did the right thing. She said that she believes the attack was a case of mistaken identity.
