SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Savannah State University (SSU) has announced the panel of distinguished judges who will serve during the 2024 Homecoming Parade, scheduled for 9 a.m., October 26 in downtown Savannah.
This year’s judging panel consists of individuals renowned for their expertise, community involvement, and passion for celebrating the spirit of SSU. The judges bring a wealth of experience and diverse perspectives, ensuring a fair and thorough evaluation of the parade participants.
The judges are:
- Attorney Stephanie Burgess, Burgess Law Group
- Dr. Karen Cooper, Smile Designs by Dr Karen Cooper
- Steve Davis, City Manager Port Wentworth
- Aaron Whitely- Chatham County Commissioner, District 6 (SSU Grad)
- Michael Jones- Retired Educator (SSU Grad)
