Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce to host 2024 Black Business Excellence Gala

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce (GSBCC) is set to host its annual Black Business Excellence Gala in the coming weeks.

The event is slated for Friday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. at The Armstrong Center (13040 Abercorn St.).

“This gala is a joyous celebration of the diversity and dynamism of greater Savannah’s burgeoning business community,” stated Moncello Stewart, president of the GSBCC.

Organizers say this year’s theme, Legacy & Innovation, will honor the past while recognizing the myriad contributions of Black, minority and women entrepreneurs.

Guests can expect a red carpet reception, award ceremony, live entertainment, silent auction and gourmet three-course dinner.

“Over the course of an enchanting and elegant evening, community members will come together to recognize the vast contributions of diligent business leaders, past and present, while looking forward to a brighter future brought forth by the innovative entrepreneurs and professionals who bolster economic development and create rich opportunities throughout our region,” Stewart continued. “The gala is a unique opportunity to gather together for an unforgettable evening of fellowship, entertainment and community building.”
