Savannah rapper Tyquian Bowman, known by his stage name ” Quando Rondo ,” issued a heartfelt apology to his hometown on Tuesday evening.
At just 25 years old, Bowman has faced numerous legal challenges in recent years.:
- In the summer of 2024, he confessed to a federal drug conspiracy charge, which could result in a prison term of up to five years, with his sentencing set for Dec. 12.
- In September, he pleaded not guilty to charges of DUI and reckless driving in Chatham County State Court.
In his apology, Bowman expressed his deep love and appreciation for Savannah, the city that raised him.
He acknowledged his past mistakes but highlighted his commitment to self-improvement and becoming a positive influence for both the youth and the community.
“I want them to see that no matter where you start, it’s possible to do better and rise above the struggles,” Bowman wrote on Instagram . “I’m committed to giving back to Savannah, whether through my music or by supporting the community.”
