Savannah Santa Train rolling back to town

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Coastal Heritage Society is bringing back Savannah Santa Train – their take on the Polar Express story.

The train rides will take place at the Georgia State Railroad Museum on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Holiday-themed activities will also take place at the neighboring Savannah Children’s Museum.

“Santa Train is the most popular event Coastal Heritage Society offers,” said CEO Nora Fleming Lee. “All train ride time slots sell out quickly, but holiday activities are happening all day. It’s a great way to get the family in the holiday spirit.”

Children and their families will learn about holiday traditions from around the world through hands-on participation. There will also be model trains provided by Coastal Rail Buffs.

Admission is $20, but Coastal Heritage Society members can buy tickets for $17.
