SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Chatham Area Transit (CAT) Schedule will be altered throughout the next two weeks for upcoming holidays.
Offices will be closed, and all operations will be suspended on Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
Regular service will be implemented on Thursday, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2. CAT Mobility riders are encouraged to schedule their reservations for Thursday, Dec. 26 by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24.
Riders can still call and leave a message for reservations at (912) 629-3961 .
The following schedules for CAT will be in effect during the holiday season:
Christmas Eve – Tuesday, Dec. 24:
- Fixed-Route: Holiday Schedule
- DOT Shuttle: Holiday Schedule
- Paratransit: Running normal operations
- Savannah Belles Ferry: Operation ends at 8 p.m.
- CAT Connect: Running normal operations
- Microtransit: Running normal operations
Christmas Day – Wednesday, Dec. 25
- Fixed-Route, DOT, Paratransit, Savannah Belles Ferry, CAT Connect, and Microtransit will not be in operation.
- CAT Central, Joe Murray Rivers Jr. Intermodal Transit Center, customer service, and the ticket sales window will also be closed.
