NEW ORLEANS, La. (WSAV) — WSAV was able to get an exclusive interview with Hilton Head Island alum and current Notre Dame linebacker Jaylen Sneed.
Joey Lamar: Thanks Jaylen for joining us. Hilton Head Island alum playing at Notre Dame. What’s it been like this week? Going to the Sugar Bowl with a shot to advance to the semifinals and beat one of the best teams in college football?
Jaylen Sneed: It’s been great. I mean, coming to the city of New Orleans, I’ve been here before. I’m from the south. It’s great to see a lot of people with southern hospitality. And it’s just a great opportunity for Notre Dame and us to just go be able to play an SEC opponent, to show the world what we’re really about and just move on to the next round.
JL: Obviously, when you come Notre Dame, you come here for these big games and these big moments. But being from Hilton Head and going to — I don’t want to say a small school, but, you know — one of the smaller schools in the state. What’s it like now to have this moment? Like, is it everything you thought it would be?
