BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) – The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) is seeking additional information in two separate shooting incidents that occurred Wednesday night. At about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday night, the BCSO Communications Center received a call about a gunshot victim who had been dropped off at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Once officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old had sustained a non-life threating gunshot wound to the arm.
Officers learned that a 17-year-old had dropped the victim off and left the hospital. The 17-year-old was later found safe and uninjured. The circumstances of this case are still under investigation. At 10:00 p.m., BCSO Communications Center received a report of shots fired in the area of Magnolia Park Apartments in Burton. It was reported that multiple shots had been fired, but it is unknown who the suspects are at this time. No one was found to be injured at the scene.
