BRYAN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) – A pipe explosion is what caused a man’s serious injuries on the Hyundai megasite on March 3rd, according to Bryan County Fire and Emergency Services records.
According to an incident report from the agency, EMS personnel were dispatched to the megasite after reports of the pipe explosion. When they arrived on scene, the report said EMS workers found a man lying on his back and “crying out in pain.” His clothes had to be cut off to check for further injuries.
After he was checked for injuries, Bryan County EMS took the man to a LifeStar medical helicopter, which transported him to the hospital.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has opened an investigation into the incident.
Hyundai megasite has a history of serious injuries
This incident is the latest on the Hyundai megasite.
