CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) – One man is in the hospital with severe injuries after he led Georgia State Patrol, Hardeeville Police and Port Wentworth Police on a pursuit down I-95 southbound.
Officials said he was also wanted in connection to a violent assault that happened in South Carolina earlier Sunday. The assault resulted in death, GSP later learned.
Georgia State Patrol said they responded to I-95 southbound at around 12:54 p.m. Sunday in reference to a vehicle pursuit. Troopers said they were advised that the fleeing vehicle had been reported stolen out of South Carolina and the driver was wanted in connection to a violent assault…
