Attempted speeding stop leads to chase on I-95

LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – An attempted routine stop by Georgia State Patrol (GSP) on I-95 for speeding leads to a high-speed chase and the suspect fleeing on foot.

On April 14, 2025, at 6:06 p.m., a GSP trooper operated a stationary radar on I-95.  A vehicle was clocked while traveling above the posted limit, and a traffic stop was initiated. The driver refused to stop initiating a pursuit.
