Savannah City Council removes MLK Jr. Boulevard flyover from agenda, anticipates it to come back soon

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The City of Savannah City Council removed an agenda item regarding the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard flyover removal after receiving a request from city staff.

City officials said the Georgia Department of Transportation is exploring an alternate approach to move forward, leading them to take a step back in the process.

They continued by saying they anticipate an agreement will return to the agenda “soon” for a vote by the council…
