Latest Georgia MLS snapshot shows move toward buyer’s market

According to the Georgia Multiple Listing Service’s (GAMLS) real estate market snapshot, home sellers are beginning to offer concessions, such as inspections, repairs and other items to sweeten the deal as housing inventories increase and homes spend longer on the market.

In Chatham County, active listings increased by 4.3% between March and April, and nearly 72% over April 2024. The median home price increased slightly to $355,990, maintaining a more normal growth pattern.
