BLUFFTON, S.C. (WSAV) — Bluffton Police Department (BPD) is currently investigating a series of vehicle break-ins and auto thefts that have taken place over the past several weeks on the west side of Bluffton, particularly in neighborhoods near Okatie Highway and May River Road.
As part of an active investigation, a ju venile male suspect was identified and detained during the early morning hours of May 2. Charges in connection with these incidents have been forwarded to the Juvenile Solicitor’s Office. Due to the suspect’s age, no identifying information is being released.
Multiple search warrants have been executed and investigators continue to follow new leads. The case remains open and additional charges and suspects may emerge as the investigation progresses…
