SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – In Savannah, the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist held a special mass to celebrate Pope Leo XIV.
“We know that the Lord is in charge. We are merely his instruments, and the Pope is also. That person here, a vicar of Christ, a person here on this earth, is here to be able to share that great news, and be able to take on a role of being a teacher,” said Bishop Steven D. Parkes.
