SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Georgia Southern Police have arrested one person believed to have been involved in the shooting that occurred on the Armstrong campus Tuesday evening.
According to campus police, early information indicates the individuals involved were known to each other. One individual has been taken into custody at an off-campus location and charged with aggravated assault. The investigation remains active, and additional charges may be forthcoming
A Georgia Southern University official shared with WSAV that one individual was treated at the hospital. They are not a current student. The shooting was reportedly between two people who fired at each other outside of Windward Commons…
