Bryan County Juneteenth Freedom Day prayer breakfast

RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (WSAV) — The Bryan County NAACP held a pray breakfast Saturday to celebrate Juneteenth.

Luella Sanders, the president of the Bryan County NAACP, said the event is an opportunity to bring people together to reach the group’s goals. “It’s an opportunity for us to pray for not only our local community, but our state community and our federal community. And it gives us the opportunity to continue to push for freedom and equality for all.”

Saunders says the Bryan County NAACP’s message is far reaching too. “Our goal is to make our communities better for everybody. Not just Bryan County, but Liberty County and Effingham County. This is a very diverse group and this is an opportunity for us to bring everybody together to celebrate where we’ve come and where we’re going.”…
