Alpha Genesis ‘monkey farm’ passes USDA inspections; announces ‘Make America Healthy Again’

In the wake of recent scandals, including a mass escape that made national headlines late last year, Alpha Genesis Primate Research Center officials have announced that their primate facilities in the South Carolina Lowcountry have passed its two most recent animal welfare inspections by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

According to documents provided by Alpha Genesis and the USDA government website, the Alpha Genesis Inc. site at 95 Castle Hall Road, Yemassee, with campuses located in both Beaufort and Hampton counties, were inspected by the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service on Feb. 24 and and May 20 and no “non-compliant items” were identified.
