Population projected to decline as young adults want less kids

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — New analysis projects the population to decline as younger adults plan to have less children.

“I’ll be known as the fertilization president,” said President Donald Trump at a Women’s History Month event back in March.

The Trump administration has proposed different incentives to improve recent low birth rates like reducing the cost for in vitro fertilization and a $5K ‘baby bonus‘ to encourage Americans to have more children. But a new analysis by Pew Research Center (PRC) shows that women and men in their 20’s and 30’s are planning to have fewer children.
