SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Tuesday, the District Attorney’s Office for the Eastern Judicial Circuit of Georgia announced they will not be pursuing criminal charges against the three Savannah Police officers who were involved in the arrest of a Savannah man last July.
The arrest in question happened last July. 32 year old Marquel Robinson was wanted on rape, 2 counts of aggravated assault, false imprisonment, and battery charges from the day prior, when police say he beat, strangled, and violently raped a woman.
