SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Tropical Depression Three will bring us dangerous rip currents this weekend, and that’s why it’s a First Alert Weather Day Saturday. There’s a high risk for rip currents Saturday, and Tybee Island Lifeguards were already flying double red flags on the beach for The Fourth. TD Three could make landfall in Charleston as Tropical Storm Chantal overnight Saturday.

Fourth of July evening looks mostly dry. The bulk of the moisture of Invest 92L is on the east side and we do have more stable, slightly drier air in place with High pressure trying to build in from the west.
