SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Monday afternoon was a stormy one in the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry.
We had several severe thunderstorm warnings but thankfully we did not have much damage. Some trees came down in Candler County and there was a 50 mph wind gusts at the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport.
A slightly less active pattern will be setting up for the next couple of days. Conditions will become more unsettled again later this week though.
A LOOK AHEAD
Slightly drier air will move into the region for Tuesday and Wednesday. This will lower our rain and thunderstorm chances…
