Cooling program appointments open to Chatham Co. residents

CHATHAM COUNTY, GA. (WSAV) — The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is now accepting appointments for low-income residents in Chatham County.

Good ways to lower your power bill this summer

The LIHEAP Cooling Program is a federally funded program that helps a limited number of low-income families and residents with their home energy bills.

Appointments can be scheduled starting Sunday, July 20 at 7 p.m. by calling 912-721-7910.

Applicants will be required to go to the Energy Assistance Program (EOA) Cuyler Building located at 618 West Anderson Street with the documentation needed…
