BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) – A Saint Helena Island woman pleaded guilty to swindling hundreds of thousands of dollars from investors for what the solicitor’s office calls a sham residential development.
38-year-old Samantha Nottingham pleaded guilty to several state and federal charges including financial identity fraud, financial transaction card fraud and obtaining goods under false pretenses.
