SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – For the first time in SCCPSS history, every teacher in the district will be receiving a one-time grant of $500, according to a statement from the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System.
This one-time teacher grant is a planned inclusion in the school district’s FY26 budget and is “is a direct investment in our classrooms and a heartfelt thank you to our teachers for the passion and commitment they bring to our students every day,” according to SCCPSS.
