Brothers arrested in 2024 Highway 204 homicide

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — The Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) has arrested two brothers in connection with a homicide that happened on Highway 204 on July 25, 2024.

CCPD detectives have charged 24-year-old Jamond Reid and 24-year-old Jatwone Reid with one count of murder and two counts of aggravated assault each in connection with the shooting that killed 25-year-old Tre’von Moorer.

Moorer was driving a vehicle on Highway 204 near Interstate 95 when he was approached by armed individuals and shot.
