Former anti-gun violence advocate charged with murder back in court

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — Frederic Green, a former anti-gun violence advocate accused of a 2024 murder, was in Chatham County court Friday asking for bail.

Green is charged in the shooting of Antwan Small in the 100 block of Saussy Road in Port Wentworth in 2024. He was arrested in Lake Saint Louis after a high-speed chase with police in December 2024.

Green’s attorney submitted several character reference letters to the court Friday. The judge did not issue a ruling on the request.
