Alleged ‘Blood’ gang member’s trial postponed to later date; Accused of robbing CBD store, shooting at SPD

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The trial of 29-year-old Quayshon Whitehurst has been continued to a later date. He’s the man facing 13 charges after investigators say he robbed an Ogeechee Road CBD store, hijacked a car, and shot at a Savannah police officer in June 2024.

Whitehurst’s attorney, Martin Hilliard, sent a conflict letter to the court, as Hilliard is part of a trial currently in a different case. He asked the Judge for a continuance in this case to a later date.
