SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Morning anchor and long-time journalist, Kim Gusby, was honored at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) with the Journalist of Distinction award.
Over the weekend, NABJ held their annual conference in Cleveland where news personnel from around the country were honored in different categories.
The “Journalist of Distinction” award recognizes Black journalists who have distinguished themselves with work of significance to people in the African diaspora—a well-deserved distinction for Kim who has documented Black history in the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry, and brings community members to the spotlight in WSAV’s Community Corner…
