St. Helena, SC (WTOC) – Ten males, ages 15-22, were detained at the Scott Hill Community Center on Scott Hill Road, St. Helena Island, after the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office observed them possessing weapons near the playground area on the county recreation property.
Carrying weapons on county recreational facilities is a violation of Beaufort County Ordinance 90-96(h).
