SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The driver of a stolen vehicle lost control and crashed into a truck on I-16 at Chatham Parkway, leading to the driver’s arrest, officials said Friday.
Garden City Police Department (GCPD) attempted to stop the stolen vehicle on Dean Forest Road when the driver struck another vehicle, then fled.
The driver was a juvenile and was arrested after the crash. He is charged with theft by receiving stolen property, fleeing to elude, reckless driving, hit and run and other related charges.
