SCCPSS gives statement on Thursday lockdown at Jenkins High

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) sent out a release Thursday to address rumors of a weapon at Jenkins High School that led to a precautionary lockdown.

The school was placed on a lockdown out of precaution after a call was received claiming a student was walking around with a weapon.

Campus Police conducted a search and deemed the threat was not credible…
