SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Starting in September 2025, the Garden City Police Department will be implementing the ‘Grappler Police Bumper,’ which is described as “an advanced pursuit intervention system designed to safely and effectively stop vehicles attempting to flee from law enforcement.”
In a press release, the Grappler is defined as “a vehicle-mounted device that deploys quickly during traffic encounters.”
