Storm Team 3: More dry time Sunday and Labor Day

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Rain dominated the early portion of Saturday, but dry time returns for Sunday and Labor Day.

Areas of the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry picked up one to two inches of rain, with locally higher amounts. Some localized street flooding took place in typical trouble spots but overall, this was not like recent rain events.

An area of low pressure developing offshore has helped elevate winds out of the northeast. Expect breezy conditions at times Sunday and with that, our waters will have a Small Craft Advisory in effect through Tuesday.

Sunday and especially Labor Day will feature more dry time. Mostly cloudy skies and a 30% chance of passing showers are expected Sunday, and 20% rain chances for Monday…
