Savannah real estate market experiences changes

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The Savannah real estate market has changed significantly in the last year with homes now staying on the market for an average of three to four months.

A year ago, houses could be hard to find because many homes were being sold before even being listed.

Patrick Hanlon, CEO of Homebuyers of Savannah, explained on Morning Break that higher mortgage rates and increased inventory due to new construction have contributed to the market reset.
