LADY’S ISLAND S.C. (WSAV) — Beaufort County and the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) recently responded to a Lady’s Island couple whose entire yard was flooded.
The couple said since then, the county did clear their drains and SCDOT cleared part of the ditch off Middle Road. Both were problem areas they said were contributing to the feet of water in their yard that overflowed from a vacant private property next door.
