2 alleged Savannah gang members convicted in 2016 murder receive additional sentences

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Two alleged Savannah gang members who pled guilty to their involvement in the 2016 gang-retaliation murder of 24-year-old Dominique Powell have been sentenced for additional crimes.

Tyriek Walker and Timothy Coleman Jr. are alleged Blood members, who along with two other alleged Blood members, Artez Strain and Arthur Newton, carried out the killing of Powell 2016.

The murder came at the behest of Newton who the State said ordered the hit from his jail cell…
