SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Around 12:04 a.m. on September 14, 2025, the Georgia State Patrol sent troopers to assist the Garden City Police Department in a four-vehicle crash with serious injuries on Interstate 16 near mile marker 161.
Officials say that while they were on the way to the crash on I-16, it was learned that this was Savannah Police Department’s jurisdiction and SPD traffic investigators were responding to investigate.
GSP troopers arrived on scene and assisted the Savannah Police traffic investigators, who then elected to take primary control of the I-16 crash case…
